Dr Duakpenmi Andrew Ayu was born in Sapele and an Alumnus of Academy now Okotie Ebor Grammar School. He is a retired Health Manager with over 35 years experience in General Family Health and provision of Healthcare Services in the Oil and Gas Industry. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree (1980) from University of Benin School of Medicine as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health (2002) from the University of Aberdeen. He retired as General Manager, NNPC Group Medical Division in May 2014 and later appointed the Olori-Ebi (Head) of the Ejo Royal Family of Warri Kingdom, by his Majesty, Atuwatse II, CON, The Olu of Warri. Dr. Ayu is a member of various professional bodies in Nigeria and abroad.
